The Lady Mustangs faced a big challenge on Tuesday as Wewoka brougtht the Class 2A #13 ranked Lady Tigers into the arena.

Wewoka 11-1 looked to battle the Allen Lady Mustangs (Undefeated and ranked #7 in Class A). The Lady Mustangs jumped out early and never let go of the lead although Wewoka made it a closer game in the fourth quarter. Allen kept their record perfect with the 54-48 win.

Tuesday the teams travel to Vanoss for a conference matchup that always proves to be tough.

And then Thursday, Friday and Saturday head to the Allen gym for the Mustang Winter Classic.

Both Allen teams are the top seed and will play the night games on Thursday. The girls will face Tishomingo at 6:30; while the Mustang men will play Coalgate.

The game on the 23rd against Stuart has been cancelled.
