Christmas is a time to come together, enjoy a good meal and be around the people you love. This year a Community Christmas Dinner on Friday, December 22. will be all of that. The event will also be a place for people who need a nice warm blanket, hat or gloves can come and get an item they might need to help them stay warm.

Some hygeine items will also be available to take home Jordyn Parker, organizer of the event stated that whe believes we are ready for next Friday. Our Community, like always, has opened their hearts and wallets to help make this a great event!

Donations of Blankets, gloves, socks, winter hats, quilts, socks, scarves are still being accepted. Those items can be dropped-off at these locations: Farmers State Bank, Allen Advocate or Allen City Hall. Items not given away that night will be stored for a time when someone is in need.

Everyone is invited to join us for our First Annual Community Christmas Dinner on December 22, 2023 at the school cafeteria begining at 6:30. for an evening of fellowship and lots of food. Some of the best cooks in town will fix a meal consisting of Ham, Turkey, dressing, green beans, rolls desserts and drinks.

This is our first of what we hope to be many years of this event so come out enjoy the evening with us. Leave with a full stomach and some Warmth for the Holiday.
