Allen’s 2nd graders are great chefs and are willing to share their secrets on how to prepare turkeys with us . . . in their own words . . .

Mrs. Mill’s 2nd Grade Class

Kaybree – We get our turkey from the store. When we get our turkey we pot peper seasoning on my turkey. My mom gives me turkey and stake then she gets me garlic bread. For desst we eat jello.

Clare – First we get a turkey at Walmart then we put season on the turkey 4 hours and then we eat with cake and green Beans and then we eat with family.

Carsyn – We get a turkey frum the woods. Next we skin, put it in the ouven for 2 hours. Then me and my sister are going to eat the turkey with green beans. And for dresert we are going to eat ice cream with chocket.

Allisyn D. – 1. First take turkey out of package. 2. Season the turkey. 3. Put turkey in pan. 4. Put turkey in oven to cook at 4 degrees. 4. Then take out turkey and slide it on to a plate. 6. Cut up Turkey and eat!

K.K. – I get the turkey from the market. I put the seasoning on it. I cook it in the oven. I am going to serve peas and crispeedose and calets with it my family eats the turkey. We eat ice cream.

Luke – 1. We eat turkey at the cafeteria and Ivm pour tray. 2. We go home or stay at school. 3. I serve it to my mother and father. 4. I eat blueberry muffin today.

Aubre – We go and hunt the turkey down. And then we season it and then we sos it. We boil it for 7 hours. M family eats pumpkin pie. Me and my family eat corn.

McKenzie – We get a turkey from Walmart. We put pepper on it. We cook it for two hours. We eat pumpkin pie. I am going to eat it with my mom and dad.

Hayden – We hunt the turkey then we season it then we boil it for 2 hours then we serve it with pie. My hole intile family gets it.

Ruger – Me and my family get it frum the stoy then we stuf it with vegetables then we cook it for 3 hours then we tek it out of the ovin then eat it.

Kye – You hunt for it then you cut it then you cook it then you get it awt then you eat it.

Slate – We go to the grocery store and we put them in the oen and we put vegetables with it and we eat it. Me and my Mom and Dad eat punkin pie.

Creed – 1. I hunt the turkey 2. I kill the turkey 3. and fire the oven up 4. and boil it for 2 hours 5. put the seasoning on th turkey 6. and I will serve with a pie 7. and eat the turkey 8. with my family.

Hunter – We hunt it outside. The we sken it. Then we frire it for two ours. Mashentato and corn on the top with sum sising garlit. We cut it with a nif. I sher it with my family. And sum frort and sum punken pie to.

Aiden – You go to womart and by a turkey go home thin you cook it thin you haf to sut it four 2 awiss in thin we put the seasoning on the turkey.

Tuff – 1. When it comes Thanksgiving time I will hunt a turkey. 2. Bring it back to the house and cook it. 3. Make some pork chops and turkey. 4. Eat it all up!

Mrs. Rutherford’s 2nd Grade Class

Hope – I would seasoning it. I would put salt and peper on it. You can also put salt and pepper. Also you can put stuffing in it. Put it to 100 degrees temperature. Put it in the oven. Don’t forget to cook it. Then you let it cool down. Last you eat it.

Stephen – I’m gaing to buy a turkey and put vggies on top put butter eggs and catsup on turkey then cook turkey 250º until it is medium rare in the oven for 15 minutes take it aut of the oven and eat it.

Wyatt – First I would hunt a turkey. I om stuff in with relish then worm it up to 100º cook it for 30 minutes then eat the turkey.

Shay – First buy a turkey at the store. Take it home. Cook it for 250º for 10 minutes. Then eat it.

Ava – First you will need to go to the store and buy a turkey then you will thaw it and preheat the oven to 125º and cook it for one hour and then you will put salt it and eat it.

Mesa – First I am going to hunt for my turkey. I am not going to leave it in the car. I am going to cook t 800º cook for 50 minutes. Then cut turkey and eat.

Kimber – How to cook a turkey put it in a flat pan. In thin you put a big big spoon in salt in thin you put it in the turkey. Take the flat pan out av the uvin ut it up. I think you pout it on the plat.

Whitley – I thau the turkey then I put te turkey in the uvin ten you ar dun.

Axton – You go to the stor and biy a turkey and you go hom and unrap the turkey and you rap it in fail and you put it in the uver and set it to 60 minutes and wen it is dun you take it out uv the uven.

Niles – I would buy a turkey then I would bring it home. I would put the turkey in the oven and cook it at 99º for 5 hours.

Treyson – First you need to go uy a turkey. Then wen you have your turkey your sink with hot water. When you have that done you need to season it up and cover it in bbq and when. You are done then you put 4 bottles of oil. Then wait for 1 hour.

Nikki – I would buy the turkey. Put the stuffing in it. Get a pan ta put it in. Wrap with foil. Put in over at 20º for 12 minutes. Get it out of oven and eat it.

Van – First I would hunt a turkey then I would bring it home then skin it then take it’s legs off put it in the oven set it for 120º for 1 hour take it out cut a hole in it then stuff it with bread with veggies in the bread then put ham where the hole is then eat it save it for later.

Anni – I would seasoning it then I would stuff it with veggies then I cook it at 30º for 30 minutes put foil on it. Then at it at grandma’s house.

Brodi – First I would hunt it. Then I would thaw it. After I would set it to 100º, cook for 30 minutes. Then eat it.

Onsi – I buy a turkey at walmark. I cook the turkey and boil it and I put the turkey in the oven and I put hot sauce in my turkey. I put it on at 100º for 30 minutes. Now eat the turkey.

Bryson – Frist hunt a turkey and then skin it. Put pepper and salt on it. Put it in the oven for 30 minute at 250º. Then take it out of the oven and eat it.

Lynnda – I would hunt the turkey. Then I will skin the turkey. I will put it in the oven 100º. Tehn I put pepper on it. Then cook for 10 mines then eat it at my dads.
