The 2023 version of the Allen Mustang football team kicks off their campaign Friday night, hosting Elmore City. Kickoff is slated for 7:30.

This season’s team will feature quite a bit of speed and some good size. The team will feature a option offense as they have some speed at quarterback and running back plus some nice receivers that can pick up some tough yardage.

The 11 seniors on the team bring a lot of experience to the team. “We’ve got a good mixture of experience and fresh faces in this year’s squad, I think we will be able to hang with anyone in our district. We are expecting a deep playoff run this season,” said Coach Matt McCreary.

The team, cheerleaders and band have been working hard this summer, so come out and support them Friday night.
