This Saturday is the long-awaited date for Santa’s visit to Allen. He’ll be arriving in downtown Allen, via fire truck, at 2:00 p.m. He will be greeting youngsters of all ages in the west business block, in front of The Advocate office.

Santa will be assisted that day by the Allen firemen and women.

Then, at 3:00 the crowd will move up the street to the Allen Food Center. From there six lucky people will be taking home a $100 bill. The drawing, provided by the Allen Chamber of Commerce, is the end of the Shop at Home promotion where shopping locally gets you tickets. Those tickets also give you a chance to win a new LP tank thanks to Arles Wells’ U-Haul Rental Center and Interstate Battery dealership.

You must be present to win and only one prize per household may be claimed.
