The Allen Quick Pic changed owners recently when the paperwork was signed transferring the business from Dianne Hodo to Sammy and Paula Pilant. The new owners have returned to their hometown roots after retiring in Texas. Sammy left the oilfield earlier this year and Paula returned to Allen after years of teaching in Texas.

The Pilants are excited to, again, be part of the Allen community and are planning a few changes to the business. Hours will be from 5:30 am to 9:00 pm, breakfast is now being served, their popular Cajun items will soon be added to the menu, and the grill hours will be extended into the evening. They are pleased to continue to offer the Java Club giving patrons a free cup of coffee after four purchases.

Paula said, “We are looking forward to becoming more involved with the community and expanding the services of the Allen Quick Pic. Our son and daughter-in-law live here and our grandkids attend Allen School.” The Pilants also wish to thank Dianne for her help with the transition and spending time with them as they learn the management issues of a convenience store.
