Over the Christmas break, the Allen High School cheerleaders traveled to Florida to perform in the pregame show at the Citrus Bowl with a group of cheerleaders from across the nation. They earned the invitation to participate in this event based on their outstanding performance at UCA cheer camp during the summer of 2018. The girls were in Florida from December 29^th to January 2^nd and stayed at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. They practiced their Citrus Bowl routine each morning, then attended Disney theme parks each afternoon. During the visit, the cheerleaders were able to visit Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. The girls would like to thank the community for helping make this experience possible through donations and participation in their fundraisers prior to the trip.
