Out and About Allen

Mike and Cindi Sanders have returned from a fi ve day trip to California, May 25th to May 29th . Although the purpose of the trip was to attend a wedding reception for their daughter Jessie (Spencer) and Manny Rubio, the Sanders managed to enjoy some sightseeing.

The Rubios were wed May 17th in a ceremony at the Cedar Deer Lodge in Glenpool, Oklahoma. This second reception was held in Dublin, California on May 26th by the groom’s family for friends and relatives unable to make the journey to Oklahoma. The newlyweds then left on their honeymoon to Italy.

For the rest of their vacation the Sanders were guests of Dave and Terry Price in Napa, California. Their first day was spent touring the Napa Valley area with stops at various wineries and places of interest. That night they were guests of honor at a family barbecue.

Tuesday the Sanders and Prices traveled to Andrew’s Redwood Reserve where they walked the Pioneer Path and admired the huge trees, one of which was over 1300 years old. The two couples then drove down the coast, stopping at The Tides for lunch.

Wednesday brought the Okies home, tired and glad to see Allen.
