Slamming Trump

Trump bashing is definitely in. His upcoming political demise, once forecast to happen in the 2020 election, has been rescheduled for uh, let us say “now.” So how did this guy ever get elected in the first place? All the networks have been on his case both before and since his election. Even some of his enemies wonder how he gets anything done when (according to them) all he does is rage all about the White House and holing up in his private bedroom at night where he watches cable news programs and produces enormous quantities of Tweets. The press has been in a lather every since Trump announced himself running for the office.

Trump had the nerve to line up against a formidable bunch of Republican candidates and joined in on their televised debates. Like I say, it was formidable but when you look back at each of his opponents he didn’t look so bad. I think that would be how voters try to visualize candidates for office.

Once he was nominated, most people predicted that Trump would quickly become just another footnote in history. Another obscure American who didn’t get elected. Then as the pollsters did everything but pronounce Hillary as the anointed winner things went haywire. Why? People tried to picture a White House with Hillary in it as President. William Jefferson would have been at her side, doing Lord knows what. Not a real pretty picture. Suddenly, Donald Trump almost in an overnight phenomena seemed palatable.

So he got elected. Angry Democrats were on scene and working hard from day one, arguing over the size of Trump’s inauguration crowd. The argument itself was made into the big story that week. But Hillary disappeared which seemed to please both parties. Barrack Obama soon became the first ex-president in modern history to criticize his successor. Maxine Waters rose to the surface and began her immediate calls for Trump’s impeachment. Yes, before the Trumps could hang curtains in their new home the Democrats had launched their impeach #45 cries and the noise has not died down since.

Last week Bob Woodward released his anti-Trump book entitled “Fear.” This book details events that he claims took place recently in Trump’s White House. All staff members are said to be pulverized by fear and are sneaking around trying to keep the “Evil Idiot Trump” from getting us all killed in a Thermonuclear holocaust. Of course, Bob’s cure for this curse (Trump) is also impeachment. Just like Maxine Waters.

This past weekend in a speech she revealed that some Democrats had asked her to tone down her calls for impeachment. They felt she should be more subtle. Maxine answered them by screaming “Impeach, Impeach, Impeach” for about 20 times into a well-working microphone.

Signs of Hillary awakening to a potential new opportunity to occupy her White House again may already be unsettling for her natural opponents trying to visualize any new attempts by her evil friends and husband in their never-ending quest for the White House. They would all say that “it isn’t a pretty picture.” Even now, Trump’s staff members are chased out of Cafe’s to make life a miserable hell for them. I noticed that White House Security Advisor John Bolton was making a speech before the UN and being heckled. Actress Carole Cook, when asked about Trump said, “Where’s John Wilkes Booth when you need him.”

All this going on during an Obama speech in which he took absolute credit for Trump’s economic boom and any other goodness. And so the week goes in Trump’s America. Long may it live.

Meanwhile, be sure and go to church Sunday. Even Hillary would approve of that. Oh wait!
