A Battle of Words

Posted in:

Back last October the Hamas launched a secret “Pearl Harbor Style” attack on Israel. The Israeli people had relaxed their vigil and were caught by surprise as the Hamas launched this surprise night-time attack along their border with Gaza. It was incredibly successful. Attacking a music or “Rock” concert and several rural areas and farms, the invaders were able, with machine guns, grenades and terror weapons to kill over a thousand helpless civilians and kidnapped another few hundred. It was quick, and it was brutal. Most of the captives are still held by the Hamas.

In a round of patriotic self-preservation the Israeli government reacted violently with its expert army. Just as the Hamas predicted and wanted. I don’t know if anyone besides the Hamas, expected Netanyahu could tear down and wreck the whole Gaza Strip, except the Hamas hoped it would happen. The bruised and battered and helpless Gaza population had been cast into a carefully orchestrated war of death, hunger, fear, starvation and utter destruction. The big winners? The Hamas. Big losers were the Israeli’s and Gazanias. I don’t think even the leadership of the Hamas — whose sponsors include the government of Iran — were able to predict the great success their attack in October would ultimately be.

The word “ultimate” may be premature. So far, Israeli leader Netanyahu has lost much of the support he had in the White House and the U.S. Congress. The Hamas race game has worked better than even they could have predicted. Some Americans who hate Jews anyway have stepped forward and aligned with the Hamas. In no time at all, Biden publicly disowned Netanyahu and now American politicians are siding with the Hamas as the war went just like the instigators (Iran) had thought.

The Hama leadership had planned to trick Israel into waging war on a large metro area full of Muslims (Gaza) and various other brands of Arabs. The easily duped American public, viewing all this on their TVs at first fell into strong support of Netanyahu and his war against Hama’s sacrificial lamb — Gaza. Now Gaza lies in ruins. The city, its hospitals and infrastructure no longer exist. The Hama leadership (of course) retreated to their palatial homes in Quatar and other wealthy cities. These countries naturally support the Gaza “victims” and it is very easy for all of them to collectively hate the evil Jews and their godless supporters. Us.

Netanyahu is now standing alone in the quick sands of being an elected leader of a democracy. Biden has pretty much washed his hands of him and some in the UN speak of branding Netanyahu as a war criminal — on the level of Hitler. And now, his own people stand ready to vote him out of office. Yes, I’d say the Hamas have won the propaganda war. What’s next? I can only wonder. Meanwhile, here in America, we are mostly concerned about whether Trump will go to jail and if Biden can remember his lines.

Have a good week. Be sure and go to church on Sunday.
