The Mustangs traveled to Wewoka last Friday for a District A-6 game.

The Mustangs outmanned a young Wewoka Tiger team 46-6.

“We were able to get some of our younger kids some playing time. That playing time will be valuable to us as the season and playoffs roll around,” said Coach Matt McCreary.

Allen out performed the Tigers in every category rolling up 379 yards of offense to their 57. Noah Bray and Brayden Tatum led the Mustangs in tackles, with everyone else getting in on the action. Davion Byrd had an interception he returned 14 yards. Byrd also took the second half kickoff 79 yards for a touchdown.

Allen heads to Liberty this Friday. They defeated Savanna 62-14 last week. Allen and Liberty are both sitting in the 4th position in the district standings.
