Mustang Powerlifters end season at State Meet

Posted in:

The Allen Mustangs had a great showing at the OFBCA C-2A State Powerlifting meet held at the Jenks-Simmons Fieldhouse in El Reno, Oklahoma this past Saturday, March 20 th .

To qualify for state a lifter must place top five at regionals. There are four regions. Once the top five at each regional are set, then the next five best totals from all regions combined are awarded at large bids to State. The top 25 lifters in each weight class compete at State. All Football Class C, B, A, 2A schools compete against each other in one Small School division for the right to go to State.

“I was extremely proud of our guys, everyone hit new maxes at State and everyone placed higher than their rankings going into state. They rank 1-25 based on your regional total.”
