For those who might need a little guidance in cooking a turkey, the 2^nd graders in Mrs. Rutherford’s class offer a little advice . . .

Makenna Maxwell – I go to the store with my dad. Then we get the turkey. Then we unwrap the turkey. Then I set the oven to 300º. Then we put the turkey in the oven. Then I put it on the table. Then my family is ready to eat.

Ryder Johnson – I buy it then unwrap it. Next I stuff it. Then I put seasoning on it and put it in the oven for one hour and 30 minute. Then take it out and eat it . . . yum, yum, yum.

Emmy Koonce – Go get a turkey. Unwrap the turkey. I put seasoning on it. My mom puts it iun the oven and when it’s done my family eats it.

Breken Woodward – I would go end biy the turkey end git it out of the packege end pit it in the oven for one hour.

Rayna Wilson – I buy it at the stor and take the placket off then I put the stufing in the turkey and the seasoning then put it in the oven and wate then we gobble the turkey up.

Addison McVey – We get the turkey fome the store. Then we will buy the turkey. Then we put seasoning on it. Then we put it in the oven. Gobble, Gobble!

Ayden Moore – I would get it. I would open it. I put it in the oven. I set the temperature. I start it. I would get it out and eat it.

Jaxston Stewart – You buy a turkey. You unwrap the turkey. You put the turkey in hot water. You put the turkey in the refrigerater. You take the bones out. You put seasoning on it. You put it in the oven.

Ava Duran – I got it from a soer and I brought it home and we see wat is the temperature and we put it in the oven then we see hot how it is then my mom cut the turkey and we eat it and we put stuffi ng.

Reggie Christian – I buy it then put it in the oven. I get the directions on it then go to the store. I take it home. I skin it. I boiul it.

Tinsley Wofford – Go to the store buy the turkey. Then go home and get the turkey out of the plastic bag. Put it in the oven. Pout the time at 66. And get it out of the oven.

Carter Hogan – First you have to go to the store and by the turkey. And scan out. And then go home. And warm the oven up. And unwrap the turkey. And put it in the oven.

Skylar Hiatt – Pot seasoning on it. Put it in the oven for 1 minte and eat it!

Bryson Stephens – First I go to the store then I go to my house and unwrap it and then I would heat up the oven and AI would put seasoning on it and then I would put it in the oven.

Laynee Heck – My mom drives to Walmart and gets the turkey. She brought it to my house. She gave it to me. I undid the package and I put it in the oven with seasoning on it.

Chulainn Keeney – Get a turkey put it in the stove cook it take it out stuff it and pepper.

Ronin Jones – I go to the store with my mom. Then we go home cut the plastic bag put it in the oven and then set the timer at 66 get it out the oven and eat it.

Jet McCarty – Mom gets the turkey, cut off wrapper. Put stuffi ng and cook it at 55º and share with cousins and family.
