We would like to invite everyone to come and enjoy Sunday breakfast with us at 9:00 am and stay for Sunday Church at 10:00 am.

Our desire is to learn to love like Jesus loves. Recently we looked at what “love is patient” looks like, and this week we will look at “love is kind”: It is benign, bountiful: it is courteous and obliging. The law of kindness is in her lips; her heart is large, and her hand open. She is ready to show favors and to do good. She seeks to be useful: and not only seizes on opportunities of doing good but searches for them. This is her general character. She is patient under injuries, and apt and inclined to do all the good in her power. And under these two generals all the particulars of the character may be reduced. (by Matthew Henry)

1 Corinthians 13:4-8a “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hoped, always perseveres, Love never fails.

It is so important to understand what love is, because the two greatest commandments tell us to love! Matthew 22:377-40 “’Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Please come and learn with us what it means to love like Jesus loves!
