Local voters agreed with the rest of the state and most of the nation as they cast ballots Tuesday in the Primary Presidential Election.

Joseph R. Biden Jr. carried the Democrat side of the ticket and Donald J. Trump led the Republican votes. These two carried all states involved in Tuesday’s primary with the exception of Vermont which gave their majority of Republican votes to Nikki Haley. Ms. Haley has since dropped out of the race for the oval office.

Statewide, 91,561 Democrats voted. Those votes were cast as follows:
