As everyone can attest, inflation has hit everywhere. Prices are higher at the grocery stores, restaurants and, especially, gas stations. Unfortunately it has hit the printing market, too.

Effective immediately, cost of an individual copy of The Advocate will be raised to $1.00. Subscription prices will also be raised. Effective July 1 st , mailing papers to addresses in Pontotoc, Hughes and Coal Counties will be raised to $35 per year; all other in-state papers will be mailed for $37.50 per year. Out of state papers will cost $40 per year. Online subscription will be available for $30 per year.

While we hate to pass on price increases, it has become necessary to do so. We thank you for your understanding and plan to continue to serve our community to the best of our ability.
