Congratulations to the four Allen Mustang players who made the cut for the Heartland Classic Baseball Tournament.

The Heartland Classic is an All-Star series played in Warner, Oklahoma on the campus of Connors State College. This year’s games will be played on July 7 ^th and 8 ^th by players entering the 9 ^th grade through the 12 ^th grade, and graduated seniors.

This is the 20 ^th year of putting this festival on, and it gets bigger and better every year. In the past 19 years, numerous players have been seen by college and pro scouts and receive scholarships as well as being drafted. This is a great way to be seen by college and pro scouts in game situations.

Tryouts were held Monday, June 8 ^th , at Connors State College. Making the team were A.J. Hill, a second baseman for the Mustangs; Caden Howard, 3 ^rd base; Beckett Wells, outfield; and Emmett Koonce, catcher.
