The Republican Party made a clean sweep in Oklahoma with voters giving an overwhelming victory to the red candidates.

Locally, in both Hughes and Pontotoc Counties, voters agreed with the majority of voters and carried Governor Kevin Stitt to a second term. Stitt defeated Joy Hofmeister with a statewide win of 55.45% of the votes cast. Lt. Gov. Matt Pinnell also retain his office. Voters approved Gentner Drummond for Attorney General, and Todd Russ for State Treasurer.

In another well fought battle, Ryan Walters earned the Superintendent of Public Instruction office over Jena Nelson. Leslie Osborn will serve as Commissioner of Labor and Kim David as a Corporation Commissioner.

James Lankford took the majority of votes to remain a U.S. Senator, and Markwayne Mullins earned the unexpired U.S. Senate seat of Jim Inhofe. Tom Cole will continue to serve as U.S. Representative for District 04, and Josh Brecheen will fill the District 02 seat vacated by Mullins as he ran for Senate.
