The Vinson family gathered July 1st for their annual reunion. This year’s event was made extra special by adding in a birthday celebration for the family matriarch, June Vinson. Mrs. Vinson turned 90 on June 1st.

Approximately 185 people, including all eight of the June’s children, gathered to enjoy the day. Guests came from California, Mississippi, Missouri, Texas and Tennessee, as well as from all over the state of Oklahoma. Okies came from the Oklahoma City area, Duncan, Cushing and the local area.

Daughter Anita Ellingsworth of Dyersburg, Tennessee was able to stay for an extended visit with her mother and other family members.
