A 4th of July celebration will have Francis residents and their guests entertained throughout the day Tuesday, July 4th. Events will be held in the town park and fire station area.

The day will begin with a Parade at 10:00 a.m. and followed by turtle races (no snappers, please), and an assortment of games and activities. At 11:00 am names will be drawn for the Horseshoe Tournament, followed by a Cornhole Tournament. At 6:30 games continue with a seed spitting contest and parachute races. Concessions will be available all day.

Bring your best homemade ice cream to be judged in the Ice Cream Contest at 7:00 p.m. Fireworks will start at dusk.
