A fire Sunday afternoon destroyed the home, barn, camper and possessions of Kenny Moore. The fire started inside the house and spread where it eventually ignighted some propane tanks that were outside. Fire departments from Allen (5 trucks), Atwood (2), Gerty (2) and Calvin responded to the fire. A benefit account has been set up for Kenny Moore and Sharonda Pirtle at Farmers State Bank in Allen.

They would like to thank the firefighters, the people who have offered help with cash and supplies. Also thanks to Jennifer Caldwell, April Whitehead, Graysyn Whitehead, Keisha Goodson, Chloe Goodson for making sure the firefighers had water and supplies.
