Dr Frank & Jerri Starns are BACK!
A fifty-year practice and thousands of patients later, Dr Frank Starns and his wife Jerri have returned to Allen to open a new chiropractic clinic. Dr. Starns Jr. graduated from Pawhuska High School and the Cleveland Chiropractic College.
A look into his office it is quick to see where his heart lies, local residents and most of all area high school athletes. There are autographed jerseys, photos and memorabilia lining the walls and Dr. Starns has a story about each of them. You can find him in the stands of Allen ball games, ready to lend a hand to injured athletes. “It’s kind of neat treating the kids of players I treated years before,” said Starns.
After beginning his practice he opened an office in Ada. After many years there the retirement bug hit, and he sold his practice and moved down to Kingston. He quickly began helping the students from Kingston high school and eventually opened an office.
“Jerri and I always knew we would be returning to Allen to be near family and Jerri’s parents. Things worked out right and we started opening our office here once a week. As the business grew, we moved to opening three days a week.”
A chiropractor treats many conditions affecting the nervous system and musculoskeletal system. Think of a chiropractor as a doctor who cares for any kind of muscle, bone or joint pain or dysfunction. The most common reasons for a chiropractic adjustment include:
· Lower back pain
· Neck pain
· Muscle pain
· Headache.
In addition, chiropractors can treat musculoskeletal pain anywhere in your body: in your head and jaws, shoulders, elbows and wrists, hips and pelvis and your knees and ankles.
