He’s making his list and checking it twice . . . Santa is preparing for his trip to Allen and he’s looking forward to visiting with all the youngsters next Saturday, December 11 ^th .

Kids of all ages are invited to join him at 2:00 p.m. on West Broadway, in front of The Advocate office. He will arrive, via an Allen fire truck, and be assisted by the local firemen and women.

Following Santa’s visit, at 3:00 that day, six luck people will go home $100 richer, courtesy of the Allen Chamber of Commerce, plus someone will go home with a new LP tank thanks to Arles Wells’ U-Haul Rental Center and Interstate Battery dealership.

Tickets for the drawing are now being given out and will continue until noon on December 11 ^th when they will be placed into the hopper. Tickets will be earned each time you make a purchase of $5 or more at any Allen Chamber member’s business. The drawing will be held in front of the Allen Food Center. You must be present to win and only one prize per household may be claimed.

Please watch The Advocate for any changes to the scheduling of these events.
