Lesli Costner Allen Schools September is shaping up to be a busy month at Allen High School. Here is a preliminary list of things for students and parents to be aware of . . .

September 1st -10:00 a.m., order caps, gowns, tassels and class rings September 2nd -Last day to sign up for PSAT, the National Merit Scholar Qualifying Test for juniors. Sophomores are encouraged to sign up to get a preview for junior year September 6th -- Last Day to sign up for ACT that will be given at Allen. Vouchers and/or reimbursements are available for Upward Bound Students and Chickasaw students. Students need to check with their respective tribes to see if they can be reimbursed. Cost is $39 and is due on the day of the test. Sign up on the list by Ms. Costner’s office ASAP.

September 7th -- Upward Bound rep will meet with current students at 10:40 September 13th -- Navy Rep will make presentation to all Juniors and Seniors in auditorium September 14th -Chad Cargill ACT Workshop $30, again vouchers/ reimbursements are available. Make checks payable to Cargill Consulting. Cash is also accepted. Sign up on the list by Ms. Costner’s office. September 15th -- Senior Panel Pictures in the morning, $20; JH/ HS Fall School Pictures; 10:00 am letter jacket rep will return to take money for orders. Checks and or money orders only made payable to Midwest Sporting Goods. NO CASH.

September 21st – ASVAB for all 10th-12th graders, 8:05 a.m. in the Auditorium September 26th -College Fair at ECU. All Seniors will leave 8:30 a.m. Opportunity to preview universities and colleges across the state
