Cheryl Rowsey was honored with a retirement party hosted by her fellow educators on the last day of school.

Cheryl has taught for 40 years with 33 years here in Allen.

Over her 40 years it is estimated that she taught over 800 children. For many of those years she taught the Kindergarten class. She is often mentioned in Senior profiles as their favorite teacher.

Cheryl has had the privilege to teach her 3 children, Jennifer, Grant and Kaylyn, who were all valedictorians of their graduating class.

Cheryl and her husband Roger will spend their retirement enjoying their children and grandchildren.
