Santa Claus made the trip to town this past Saturday and visited with children of all ages, giving each a small sack of candy.

The crowd then enjoyed hot chocolate and cookies, courtesy of the First Baptist Church, before gathering at the Allen Food Center for the Chamber of Commerce’s drawing. This year, in addition to the five $100 bills from the Chamber, Arles Wells (Interstate Batteries) gave a $100 gift certificate to the Food Center.

Lucky winners of the money were Angel Scott, Maddie Crabtree, Don Ray Sim, Jessica Melton and Cricket Burnett. Floyd Woodall took home the gift certificate.
