Johnny Avery is the son of Brian and Amber Lawrence and has attended Calvin School since 2007.

He has been active in baseball, quiz bowl and 4-H.

Johnny plans to join the Army, then start his own private security or be a police officer at the McAlester Ammunition Plant.

Nevon Bump is the son of Melissa Bump and the late Robert Bump and has attended Calvin Schools since Pre-K.

Nevon’s activities are basketball, baseball, crosscountry and National Honor Society. He was runner-up in cross country state champ, regional champ in basketball.

After graduation Nevon plans to attend college for a bachelor degree to coach basketball.

Landon Bulen is the son of Mark and Lori Bulen and started attending Calvin Schools in Pre-K in 2008.

His favorite teacher is Mrs. Alexander and English is his favorite subject.

Landon plans to work and get rich.

Raney Avalynn Clay is the daughter of Tommy Clay and Jamie Turpin-Clay and has attended Calvin school for five years.

Her activities include Academic Team, FFA, National Honor Society, 4-H, Track & Field, STUCO, Mascot and Work Stock. She was awarded the Top Greenhand Award, and Star Farmer Award.

Her favorite teachers are Katy Jones and Jennifer Batenhorst and College American Humanities is her favorite subject.

After graduating Raney will be attending Connors State College. She has signed with their Livestock Show Team and will be showing Santa Gertrudis and Simmentals. Her major, as of right now, will be Agri-Business with a minor in feed or meat sciences. After college she plans to own and operate her own custom processing facility.

MaKayla Potter, whose nickname is Dory, is the daughter of Jennifer Potter and Euel Potter. She has attended Calvin School for 12 years.

MaKayla’s favorite teacher is Coach Maggia.

She plans to work and get her own place to live.

River Amaral is the daughter of Michael and Shanda Amaral and has attended Calvin Schools since 2016.

River played basketball until sophomore year and was part of the quiz bowl, National Honor Society, cheer, yearbook and ambassador for “Oklahoma Future Native Leaders.” She was awarded the Questbridge Prep Scholar (2022-2023).

River’s favorite teacher is Coach Maggie and Science and History are her favorite subjects.

After graduation she plans on attending the University of Oklahoma to pursue a bachelor’s degree.

Mena Harrison is the daughter of the late Wendy Harrison and has attended Calvin school for two years.

Her activities include basketball, softball, cross country, track, National Honor Society. Mena went to state in basketball, went to state in cross country and is on the Principal’s Honor Roll.

Mrs. Talbert is her favorite teacher and lunch her favorite subject.

Mena plans to attend Randall University to play basketball and get her Associates Degree in General Studies. After Randall she plans to start her dental hygiene course at OU or Rose.

Robert J. Craven, whose nickname is R.J., is the son of Robert E. Craven and has attended Calvin schools since 2009. He has been active in Quiz Bowl.

Robert’s favorite teachers are Mr. Notles, Mrs. Guffey, Mrs. Kelley and Coach Maggia and Science his favorite subject.

Robert plans on going to OSU to pursue a career in graphic design.

Nariah plans to attend Connor’s State College in Warner. She is looking into physical therapy assisting program offered.

Rachel Janda is the daughter of Casey Roebuck and Darrel Janda and has attended Calvin School since 2015.

Her activities are cross country, track, cheer and softball. Her awards include cross-country state qualifier and individual cross-country state qualifier.

Rachel plant to attend Connors on a cross country scholarship and get certified as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
