A Busy Homecomig and Senior Night
Friday was a day full of activity around Allen and the local school. For the community the day started with flu shots, given free of charge, at the Allen City Hall by the Chickasaw Nation. In conjunction with that event were drawings for $50, won by Cathy Akins, and passes for the Allen swimming pool next summer. Those were won by Louis Jarrett and Debbie Cundiff.
Then the parade began! Bigger and better than ever, the theme of “We Got Game” was featured by the floats created by each grade. Also in the parade were the Pride of the Mustangs band, football players, cheerleaders and politicians, all of whom seemed to be throwing candy.
