School Safety

Hiatt said the schools are installing panic buttons in the school offices as a safety measure.

“It’s like a panic button that you see on movies,” Hiatt said. “You push a button, and it will go directly to (the school resource officer) and then to 911 with the location where it was pushed from.”

Executive Session The board entered into executive session, and upon returning, elected to hire high school football coach Kaleb Burns to be the track coach, and school resource officer Shannon Butler as weightlifting coach.
