Gunner and Cierra Parent are proud to introduce their miracle baby, Blakelynn Drew Parent. Blakelynn was born at only 26 weeks, at 7:56 a.m. on August 15, 2018. She was 14 weeks early, only weighing 2 pounds and measuring 13 inches long. Blakelynn spent 69 days in the NICU at Normal Regional Healthplex where she proved her strength to all of her family and friends. Today, Blakelynn is a healthy, happy five month old baby girl. She weighs over 9 pounds and is over 21 inches long. Blakelynn’s maternal grandparents are Jim and Tina Melton of Allen; her paternal grandparents are Ricky and Loraine Parent of Pittsburg. Great-grandparents are Leon and Barbara Boyd of Allen, Louis and Liz Barron of Pittsburg, and Judith Parent of Pittsburg.
