A fundraiser is being planned for October 26^th to benefit Jason Holcomb and his family as he battles a rare form of leukemia. Money raised will be used to assist with medical and travel expenses.

A 2015 graduate of Allen High School, Jason is the son of Eric Holcomb and Shonda Moore.

The October 26^th fundraiser will be held at the Mustang softball field south of town. Tentatively being planned are a co-ed softball tournament and a cornhole tournament, followed by a meal.

Also on-going is a Kiss-a-Pig challenge sponsored by the Allen Quick Pic. Stop by and cast your votes for who you would like to see kiss the pig. Vote for the Allen Chief of Police Darrell Armstrong, town mayor Dianna Brannan, or president of Farmers State Bank, Debbie Ward. The money votes will be counted and the “winner” will pay the forfeit during the fundraiser on the 26^th .
