Next Saturday, October 27 the Allen football fi eld come try your skills at the Zombie Chase. There will be no charge for this event, however there will be a registration form and waiver to fill out prior to the race. All participants will receive either a 'Survivor' or 'Infected' medal.

Registration will begin at 8:30 and the chase begins at 10. During the morning there will also be a contest for the best costume (Zombie and Survivor). Although the race is free, a concession stand will be available to purchase drinks and snacks.

Flyers and a pre-registrations form will be handed out at Allen School early next week.

A Zombie professional will be on hand to assist with any make-up needs you may have, but if possible come already dressed in your costume.

This event is open to all ages.

The choice is yours:

-Be a Runner (human) and run from the Zombies.

-Be a Zombie and pull the runner's flags as they run through your "Zombie Zone."

Runners will be provided a belt with 3 fl ags. Protect these fl ags, they’re your “life.” Zombies are staged throughout the course ready to chase you and steal your fl ags. Try to survive, if you can... Lose your flags, and you can still finish the course as a runner.

Choose to become a member of the Zombie Horde instead, and polish your human hunting skills while adorned in true fl esh-eating fashion,
