Balancing Care with Caution
Mercy is working to provide the best – and safest – possible care as our communities work to contain COVID-19. We’re adapting our procedures to protect both our patients and our coworkers. Here’s how you can get the care you need, while adhering to shelter in place orders and maintaining appropriate social distancing.
Virtual Care
Mercy is a pioneer in the use of virtual technology to deliver care, an innovation that serves us well in this time of quarantine. We’re making several distance-care options available, including:
Video Visits Video visits are available from all Mercy Clinic and Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care locations. We are averaging nearly 5,000 virtual consults a day, connecting our patients with their trusted Mercy provider.
Tele-Visits Mercy makes it possible to stay in touch with your care team by phone as well. Find your provider’s contact information at mercy.net.
MyMercy You can stay in touch with your care provider with MyMercy, our free app. Use My-Mercy to contact your provider or schedule an appointment. Your provider’s office will then reach out to you to determine whether your visit should be by phone, video or in person. ER Triage
We’ve added special COVID-19 protocols to ER admission, providing immediate support, masks and isolation spaces for patients who may have been exposed.
Dedicated Care Areas
Mercy now has areas within many locations solely for COVID-19 patients to minimize exposure and stop the virus’s spread.
