A BlackRock community association has been established to improve the local cemetery as well as other things. Brad Prentice has donated the pipe and Andrew Nemecek has donated his welding skills to build a pipe fence around the cemetery.

Even with these generous donations, we expect to need about $2500 more to pay for additional supplies. There are currently over 60 people buried at BlackRock with two of those being recent. It is our goal to make the cemetery a beautiful part of our community that we can all be proud of.

If you would like to contribute to this work, please make your check payable to “Black Rock Community Group” and mail it to the secretary treasurer, Brenda Linker at 8014 CR 3670, Allen, OK 74825. Thank you for your help.

A special thanks to Brad Prentice, Andrew Nemecek, and the Busby Family on whose land the cemetery is located.
