The Allen / Calvin team couldn’t keep up with Wister Varsity Lady Wildcats and fell 13-5 on Wednesday.

Wister Varsity Lady Wildcats scored five runs on six hits in the top of the seventh inning. A steal of home scored one run, Kaylea Underwood singled, scoring one run, Bailyn Robertson doubled, scoring one run, Pate singled, scoring one run, and a steal of home scored one run.

Kryslyn Stephens began the game for Allen. She surrendered 18 hits and 10 runs over six innings, striking out two and walking two.

Addison Prentice drove in four runs on two hits to lead The Allen / Calvin team past Haworth Varsity Lady Lions 14-1 on Tuesday. Prentice hit an inside the park home run in the second inning, scoring three runs, and doubled in the third inning, scoring one.

The Allen / Calvin team got on the board in the top of the first inning after Kayla Nickell singled, Kaylee Davis grounded out, Haworth Varsity Lady Lions committed an error, and Kryslyn Stephens grounded out, each scoring one run.

Alyssa Farely stepped in the circle first for Haworth Varsity Lady Lions. The righty gave up 11 hits and 17 runs (16 earned) over four innings, striking out one and walking seven.

++++ A trip to Wayne on Thursday is next up for the girls. Monday they will host an always tough Tupelo team at the Calvin ball field, then on trip to Rock Creek on Tuesday. Next Thursday will be a trip to Coalgate for a district battle and a tune-up game with Tishomingo while they are there. The Junior high team will participate in the Wewoka Jr High festival on Friday Sept 8.
