Four senior Lady Mustang softball players were honored Monday evening, September 19th, at the last home softball game. These young ladies have not only contributed to the softball program but also to many other activities in Allen. These young ladies have played softball all four years of their high school careers.

Macyee Davis is the daughter of Billy and Michele Davis and has one sister, Kaylee. Macyee plays pitcher and left field; she wears the number 6. Macyee says her favorite memory is when they were raking home plate and Coach Bow accidentally turned on the water home and sprayed Stoney in the face. Macyee’s future plans are to either attend college or a technology center.

Brooklyn Sanders is the daughter of Greg and Sue Sanders and has one brother, Kylan. Brooklyn wears the number 12 and plays outfield and first base for the Lady Mustangs. Brooklyn’s most memorable moment was when we were in a rain delay and throwing a softball from dugout to dugout. They dared Alexa to yell out, “My name is Meatball”, which she yelled proudly. The whole team was laughing so hard they were crying. Her future plans are to attend Murray State College to obtain her associate degree in science and then transfer to Oklahoma State University to finish her education.

Alexis Slabaugh is the daughter of Kevin and Dottie Slabaugh and has one brother, Damon. Alexis plays first base and wears the number 7. Her favorite memory was when Coach Bow sprayed Stoney in the face with the water hose while they were watering the field. Alexis’s future plans include finishing her associate degree in Business Admin Technology at Redland’s Community College and then transferring to the University of Oklahoma to pursue her bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration.

Maebrey Wallace is the daughter of Stan and Lisa Wallace and has one sister, Britten. Maebrey wears number 19 and plays right field, catcher and second base. Her most memorable moment was when she and Ava ran into each other chasing a fly ball. Maebrey ended up with a bloody nose. Her future plans are to attend Oklahoma State University to pursue a degree in Agriculture Communications.
