Last Saturday, April 1st, was a perfect day for an Easter Egg Hunt and that’s just what happened in the Allen City Park. Excited kids lined up waiting for the word to start, then the race was on to pick up as many plastic eggs as possible to put in their Easter basket. These were then cashedin for money; each egg has a monetary value thanks to the Allen Chamber of Commerce.

A special thank you to the Egg Hiders especially Easton Ledo and Montana Griffith, and to the ladies that passed out the money to the youngsters. Each child went home with money in their pocket (or basket or Mom’s pocket). The lucky young hunters finding the prize eggs were . . .
