The Allen Chamber met Tuesday, January 21^st , with ten members in attendance.

President Eric Pierce called the meeting to order and following the invocation, reading of the minutes and treasurer’s report, the December activities were reviewed. Approximately 77 candy sacks were handed out during Santa’s visit and that was followed by six lucky people going home with $100 each from the Shop at Home promotion.

Coming up and discussed in detail was the 2020 Chamber of Commerce Banquet. The date of Tuesday, March 3^rd , was selected and the menu, entertainment and décor was settled. Also set was the date of April 4^th , with a rain date of April 11^th , for the annual Buck Gilmore Memorial Easter Egg Hunt in the Allen City Park.

Charles and Betty Speir are continuing to sign up members for the 2020 Chamber year and/or Chamber Flag Service. Anyone interested is urged to contact the Speirs or come by The Advocate offi ce.
