Allen will celebrate Independence on Saturday, July 8th!

A schedule of events will be printed next week, but expect a world class parade, then gather at the park for swiming, water slide, RCB Band, turtle races, water balloon races, egg carry, free hot dogs and drinks, sno cones.

Also we will be bringin back our popular Mr and Mrs. Independence Day contest. Sam and Sally Johnson claim they will be defending their title, but who know who will win this year!!

We will end the evening at the softball field where the fire department will be trying their best to beat last years fireworks display.

We invite everyone from the surrounding areas to come join us for a evening of small town fun.
