As of press time Wednesday only Rhonda Skelton had filed for the Allen City Council. Incumbent for Ward 4, Rhonda will retain her seat without an election if no one else filed before the 5pm deadline.

No applicants have filed for Ward 2. That seat was previously held by Mike Todd however he is unable to file due to moving out of the district. If no applicants apply the Council will appoint someone to the position.

In Calvin, three Trustee seats are open. That town does not have Wards and candidates file with the top three being seated. As of press time, those filed are Rhonda Tweedle, Marla Riddle, Kara Pembrook, David Webster and T.G. Adamson
