Allen Alumni Weekend Successful
It was hot this past Friday evening but that didn’t stop Allen alumni from gathering to enjoy the evening on Main. With music provided by Doug Stinson, Jimmy Nix and the gang, and the RBC Band as entertainment, those in attendance enjoyed time together catching up and reminiscing.
The food booths were popular and so was the bounce house for kids.
The golf scramble had every spot reserved and every golf cart in use as they teed off at the Seminole Course at 9:00 a.m. Congratulations to the Flight A 4-man team of Heath Baber, Cody Wainscott, Wes Wainscott and Kyle Bernardi on their win.
Saturday proved to be even hotter but the cafeteria was cool and the Nancy McDougal Pancake Breakfast was delicious as always. A good turnout enjoyed the meal and more visiting.
Hot doesn’t even describe the temperature that afternoon but nevertheless, never say die, the Home Run Derby and Alumni Baseball Game had a good number of players. Easton Elliott won the Derby and the game, alumni versus the current Mustang team, gave the win to the alumni in extra innings.
