Allen’s Blessing Box

Posted in:

The Blessing Box was created with the idea in mind of “Take what you need, Give what you can.” The box is available for anyone (anyone at all) to drop items in or pick items up form. The Blessing Box is often for those who are not easily able to meet everyday food and personal needs. The box also might stock afterschool snacks for neighborhood kids or that “cup of sugar” you never have when you need it.

In all instances, the Blessing Box is for those who want and/or need to give. The location is on the corner of Lexington and Memphis Streets and is available at your convenience.

Please be mindful when donating to not contribute anything that would spoil in the heat or freeze and become damaged in the cold. Also, please remember that you should not leave sharp objects, outdated items, chemicals or alcohol allowed. No clothing except for possible new hats/gloves for wintertime. Please be mindful of space. If your items do not fit, please come back at a later time and restock with your items . . . they are much appreciated!
