The Allen 2023 Homecoming parade featured floats from all the classes with candy motifs to go along with this year’s theme of “It’s Sweet To Be A Mustang.”

Congratulations to the high school winners: 1st place was the Junior class with their Willie Wonka theme 2nd place went to the Seniors with a Bubble Gum machine 3rd was the 8th grade class for Reese’s Piece And congratulations to the elementary winners: 1st place, 5th grade with Smarties 2nd place, 3rd grade with Skittles 3rd place, 2nd grade with Hot Tamales All twelve classes (1st through 12th) did excellent jobs of decorating their floats. Themes were: 1st grade – Star Burst; 2nd grade – Hot Tamales; 3rd grade – Skittles; 4th grade – Sweet Tarts; 5th grade – Smarties; 6th grade – Sour Patch; 7th grade – Hershey Kisses; 8th grade – Reese’s Piece; freshmen – M&Ms; sophomores – Nerds; juniors – Willie Wonka; and seniors – Bubble Gum.
