Each Egg wins a prize! Area youngsters need to get their baskets ready for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. This year’s event, sponsored by the Allen Chamber of Commerce, will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 1st, in the Allen City Park.

The Allen baseball team was able to squeeze in a couple of games during spring break at the Wright City Festival.

A second Saturday clean-up day will be scheduled for Saturday, March 25th from 9-2

The 2023 Allen baseball team’s season started with a 11-0 win over Sasakwa on March the 4th, Since that date the team has played 5 games in the 2 10 days since then and currently have a 3-3 record Second game of that day saw the Tushka Tigers picking up the 16-2 win.

Coyt Bell dives back to first to avoid the tag in the season opener Saturday

The monthly regular meeting of the Allen town council was held Monday, March 6. Members present were Rhonda Skelton, Dianna Brannan, Delwayne Johnson and Wendell Smith. April Whitehead was absent. This was the last regular meeting that Johnson, Smith and Whitehead will represent their wards.

Week of February 27th

The Lady Mustangs entered the Regional Tournament with hopes of an Area Tournament berth, but unfortunately ended their very successful season with a loss against Keota in the consolation finals Saturday.

Just like last week the place to be was the Quinton gym, this Friday the place you will find 90% of the residents of Allen will be the Wilburton gym. The Mustangs are expecting a full house of rowdy Allen fans to encourage them in their battle with Liberty at 7:30.
