On Wednesday, October 5th, Allen High School’s Student Council attended the District 4 Leadership Conference on the campus of Ada High School. Seventeen schools were present, and Allen’s STUCO members were given opportunities to interact with students from other schools while playing games and participating in leadership exercises. They reported having a good time and gathered some great ideas to bring back to our student body. Representing Allen were the following: (Front row, left to right) Addison Prentice, Stoney Cully, Camdyn Williams, Macyee Davis, and Maebrey Wallace; (back row, left to right) Ethan Smith, Jack Todd, Jake Hisaw, Alex Hill, Keenan Walker, and Kelsey Hurt.

Read moreThe Lady Mustangs had a strong first day in the Regional Tournament hosted by top ranked Caddo. Allen started the day beating Bennington to face the Caddo. The Lady Mustangs may have played best game of their season and gave Caddo a scare. The loss put the Ladies in the loser’s bracket. The game against Rattan found the Lady Mustangs playing a little flat and Allen ended their season. “We got a little better each game of the season and by the end we were as good as anyone but came up just short at the end. This was a great group of girls, and we are ready to come back in the spring and try it again,” said Coach Richbourg.

The Lady Mustangs were slated to face Bennington at 2 Wednesday. The regional finals are lasted for 2 on Thursday with an if necessary game at 4.
