Candidates interested in filing for municipal office in three Pontotoc County municipalities will file Declarations of Candidacy beginning 8 a.m. Monday, February 6th. Declaration of Candidacy forms must be completed and submitted to the County Election Board no later than 5 p.m. Wednesday, February 8th, when the filing period ends. Contests of Candidacy must be filed no later than Friday, February 10th, and may only be filed by another candidate for that office, unless a candidate files unopposed.

Pictures and dining will begin at 5:00 p.m., followed immediately by the dance. The dance will end at 9:00 p.m. Cost of the evening, including the meal and photo, is $40.
