Death Penalty Sought for Allen Couples Murder
The death penalty is being sought by Pontotoc County District Attorney Erik Johnson for Richard Dewayne Chambers. Chambers is accused of killing local residents Robert and Jackie Peliti at their home west of Allen in a December crime spree that began in Midwest City.
Town/School Election April 1
st Allen voters will go to the polls on Tuesday, April 1st, to choose their representative for the Town of Allen Board of Trustees, Office No. 1.
Masonic Fish Fry Saturday
The Allen Masonic Lodge will be holding a Fish Fry dinner on Sunday, March 23rd. This is a fundraiser with money raised being used for local projects.
Pre-Enrollment for Allen’s Big 5 Head Start for 2025-2026
The Big 5 Head Start Program, in collaboration with Allen Public School, will start accepting preapplications for the 2025-26 school year online beginning March 24th-April 4th. The Link will go live on our website and be shared on Facebook and Parent Square.
