Growing up in Allen, I was always familiar with small town ways and rules. As I aged, I began to have problems with small towns, most were my fault, some were not, and others just to my ignorance.

Monday night the Allen FFA team traveled to the Murray State College Speech Contest! Congratulations to these kids on a good night!

Area youngsters need to get their baskets ready for Allen’s annual Easter Egg Hunt. This year’s event, sponsored by the Allen Chamber of Commerce, will be held this Saturday, April 12th, in the Allen City Park.

n the early hours of Saturday morning, an inmate at the Pontotoc County Justice Center, an inmate created a medical emergency and escaped custody while at the hospital.

We wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt thanks for your kindness and support during the loss of our son and brother, Grant.. Your presence, cards, flowers, calls, food and most of all prayers, has meant more to me and my family than words can say.
