The Allen City Park has a new interactive mural on all four sides of the restroom building. In collaboration with the 3rd and 4th graders at Allen Elementary School, local artist Destiny Graham designed the mural depicting local history in designs. A ribbon cutting was held this past Friday with Destiny and the students in attendance. The mural was part of an Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition grant project. Each wall of the mural depicts a different aspect of Allen from Allen’s heritage, founding, and natural treasures, an ode to Allen’s veterans, the butterfly wall with words from the students and the Mustang running from the past to the future.
