The Annual 5th-12th Christmas Band Concert will be held Sunday, December 12th from 2:00 – 4:00pm Everyone is invited to attend.

Attorney General John O’Connor and Governor Kevin Stitt celebrated a win on Tuesday.

Join the Allen Masonic Lodge for breakfast Saturday, December 4 , from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m., at the Lodge on West Broadway. The breakfast fund-raisers are held the first Saturday of each month with a menu of sausage, biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs, hash browns and coffee.

The Allen Cheer Booster will be hosting their first annual Father/Daughter Winter Dance this Saturday, December 4 , from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Allen School Cafeteria. This is a special time that daughters will long remember, for some it will be their first date with a handsome older man!

The home of Clinton and Twila Stowe was a total loss Friday, November 26 , when a set fire, grass burn, got out of control. Firefighters from several units struggled to extinguish the fire located in a heavily wooded area west of Allen.

Ryan Walters, our current Oklahoma Secretary of Education visited Allen Public Schools on Tuesday. Mr. Walters is running for Oklahoma State Superintendent to replace Joy Hofmeister who is running for governor.

Candidates for the Board of Education in eight Pontotoc County school districts will file Declarations of Candidacy beginning 8 a.m. Monday, December 6, 2021.

The Atwood Community will be having their Christmas Celebration on Sunday, December 5 , at 5:00 at the Atwood Fire Department. The theme is “Jingle for Jesus.”
